The pioneering rapper Nasir “Nas” Jones — and son of respected jazz artist Olu Jones — has been an innovator since his first album debuted in 1994. Nas’ work is notable for its rich lyrics, telling compelling stories that range from autobiographical to the allegorical.
Renowned for his seminal debut album “Illmatic,” Nas will perform its tracks alongside the PSO for a unique blend of rap and orchestral music.
