Noted conductor and jazz trombonist is joined by vocalists Dee Daniels and Denzal Sinclaire in a tribute to a very special man and his daughter.
That man is pianist and vocalist Nat King Cole (1919-1965), whose made popular several smooth jazz songs that have become true American standards. His daughter, Natalie Cole (1950-2015) followed in his footsteps becoming an accomplished jazz artist in her own right. In 1991, Natalie released an innovative album that combined her voice with Nat’s to perform some of the latter’s biggest hits as duets.
