This 1938 play is considered one of the finest even created for the American stage and a masterwork of writer Thorton Wilder (1897-1975).
Set in the fictional New Hampshire town of Grover’s Corners, the play follows the citizens as they grow, change and die during the first decade of the 20th century.
The simple beauty and profound truths of “Our Town” earned Wilder the prestigious 1938 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
