Pittsburgh’s legendary professional baseball team — the winner of five World Series trophies — takes to the diamond against the New York Mets.

With an impressive history dating to 1882, the team is often known by the nicknames “Bucs” and “Buccos,” derived from another name for pirates, buccaneers.

Kids attending this afternoon’s game will receive a vintage-looking toy truck featuring the logo of business products company W.B. Mason. As an added treat, the first 1,000 Boy Scouts and leaders to purchase tickets will have the opportunity to go on the field at PNC Park to be recognized during a special salute. A portion of the proceeds from these special tickets (which must be purchased by clicking here) will benefit local Boy Scouts organizations.
