Pittsburgh’s legendary professional baseball team — the winner of five World Series trophies — is challenged by the Philadelphia Phillies in a series of games.
With an impressive history dating to 1882, the team is often known by the nicknames “Bucs” and “Buccos,” derived from another name for pirates, buccaneers.
There will be a pre-game block party on Saturday with Sunday’s game is designated a “Kid’s Day” and includes fun activities. Both will happen outside PNC Park’s Federal Street entrances.
