Pittsburgh’s legendary professional baseball team — the winner of five World Series trophies — is challenged by the Milwaukee Brewers in a series of games.
With an impressive history dating to 1882, the team is often known by the nicknames “Bucs” and “Buccos,” derived from another name for pirates, buccaneers.
Giveaways this weekend include shirts, bobble heads and lunch bags. A pre-game block party will be held Saturday. Sunday’s game is designated a “Kid’s Day” and includes fun activities outside PNC Park’s Federal Street entrances.
