Members of the region’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community (LGBT) march with joy a pride through the heart of the city.
Activist and state representative La’Tasha Mayes is the grand marshall.
The parade begins at 11th Street and Liberty Avenue downtown near the Strip District. The parade will proceed down Liberty Ave towards 7th Street, turn right on 7th Street and continue across the Andy Warhol Bridge, continue on Sandusky Street, turn left on to South Commons and proceed to Allegheny Commons Park West for the Pittsburgh Pride Festival.
Admission is free. Presented by Pittsburgh Pride Group, a a consortium of local TLGBQIA+ organizations that works together to create community focused pride events.
