The inventive violinist Alexi Kenney (pictured) joins the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in a program of timeless masterpieces.

Founded in 1895 by British composer, conductor and organist Frederic Archer (1838-1901), the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is one of America’s oldest and most prestigious orchestras having performed around the world including a 2004 concert for Pope John Paul II (1920-2005).

Alexi will perform a concerto written by Finnish composer Jean Sibelius (1865-1957). The orchestra will perform the eighth symphony written by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák (1841-1904).
