The incredible Japanese violinist Himari (pictured) joins the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in a program featuring a concerto written by German composer Max Bruch (1838-1920).

Founded in 1895 by British composer, conductor and organist Frederic Archer (1838-1901), the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is one of America’s oldest and most prestigious orchestras having performed around the world including a 2004 concert for Pope John Paul II (1920-2005).

Himari has established global acclaim through her ability to channel classical music with the unique and refreshing perspective of a young artist (she was born in 2011). She will be performing Bruch concerto that was composed in 1866.
