The legendary pianist Lang Lang (pictured) joins the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in celebrating the start of a new symphony season.
Founded in 1945, the Pittsburgh Symphony Youth Orchestra is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions of its kind. Orchestra members bring a sense of amazement and excitement about classical music to diverse audiences-young and old, novice and seasoned. Many alumni have gone on to have impressive music careers.
The evening includes dinner, a reception and a concert. Proceeds benefit the symphony’s learning and engagement programs.
