Celebrate Women’s History Month with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra celebrate the powerful female singers and songwriters who changed pop and rock & roll forever like Carole King (pictured).

Founded in 1895 by British composer, conductor and organist Frederic Archer (1838-1901), the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is one of America’s oldest and most prestigious orchestras having performed around the world including a 2004 concert for Pope John Paul II (1920-2005).

The program also includes the music of Tina Turner, Janis Joplin (1943-1970), Aretha Franklin (1942-2018) and Pat Benatar, among others.
