Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ greatest album, “Abbey Road”, with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

The Beatles (1960-1970) were one of the most artistically and commercially successful bands in the history of music, helping to define the sound of 60s pop-rock. The Fab Faux seeks to recreate the sound, look and stage presence of the groundbreaking and cross-generational British band.

“Abby Road” was released in 1969 and is the band’s eleventh studio album. The recording sessions for the album were the last in which all four Beatles participated. Many of its songs have become beloved classics, such as “Here Comes the Sun.”

Founded in 1895 by British composer, conductor and organist Frederic Archer (1838-1901), the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is one of America’s oldest and most prestigious orchestras having performed around the world including a 2004 concert for Pope John Paul II (1920-2005).
