Chicago rapper Elizabeth “Cupcakke” Harris brings her brazen, hypersexualized music to Pittsburgh and delivers it with panache, humor and lots of energy.
Pride Month is an annual celebration of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. The word and concept of “pride” is in direct opposition to that of “shame” (or social stigma), which sexual minorities have had to endure for centuries. June is chosen as Pride Month in recognition of the Stonewall Riots, which happen in New York City on June 28, 1969. This event marked the start to what is now the LGBT Rights Movement.
The party will feature many other LGBT artists performing.
