Norwegian sensation Vilde Frang joins the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra for a mix of concert and seminar paying homage to the “Golden Age” of the violin — with the audience sitting on the stage with the musicians.

The violin is a stringed instrument made of hollowed wood that first appeared in 16th Century Italy and became immensely popular across Europe in a period called its “Golden Age.”
