This inspiring 2017 film biography of author and deli worker Jeff Bauman, who lost his legs during the 2013 bombing of the Boston Marathon.

On April 15, 2013, two homemade bombs exploded during the annual Boston Marathon. Three people were killed and several hundred others injured, including 16 who lost limbs. It was soon determined that Kyrgyz-American brothersĀ Tamerlan Tsarnaev (1986-2013) and Dzhokhar TsarnaevĀ  (born 1993) were responsible. The latter is in prison.

Noted actor Jake Gyllenhall portrays Bauman and his struggles to recover from the crime and adapt to a new life.
