Experience the breathtaking art of Claude Monet (pictured) brought to vibrant life through Phipps’ incredible horticultural displays.

French painter Claude Monet (1840-1926) was the most consistent and prolific practitioner of impressionism’s philosophy of expressing one’s perceptions before nature, especially as applied to outdoor) landscape painting. The term “Impressionism” is derived from the title of a Monet painting first exhibited in 1874.

In this spectacular new show, these summer displays will breathe three-dimensional life into Monet’s breathtaking scenes of delicate flora and dreamlike design — beloved works that have stood the test of time for 100 years. Just as Monet connected with the natural world by painting outdoors to immerse himself in nature, Phipps now reimagines his art through the flora that inspired it.
