Accomplished musician and singer Melvin Seals leads a variety of skilled musicians in the extended Grateful Dead family of musicians to perform some of that band’s best songs.
The Grateful Dead (1965-1995) was centered around the sound and style of singer/songwriter Jerry Garcia (1942-1995). Ranging from quintet to septet, the band was known for an eclectic style which fused elements of rock, folk, country, bluegrass, reggae and various other genres.
This tribute act takes its name from the title of a Grateful Dead song.
