Enjoy a special screening of this television documentary exploring one of America’s most treasured biking destinations: the C&O Canal Towpath.

Created in 1961, the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historic Park (also known as the C&O Canal Towpath) is a national monument preserving the neglected remains of the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal and many of its original structures. The canal operated from 1831 to 1924 along the Potomac River. It was used primarily to ship coal from the Allegheny Mountains.

During this hour‑long journey, travel the C&O Canal Towpath, exploring trail towns from Washington D.C. to Cumberland, MD, then hop onto the Great Allegheny Passage, which takes us home to Pittsburgh.

There are two screenings tonight: One at 7:00 p.m. and another at 8:30 p.m.
