Drawing inspiration from Pittsburgh’s blue-collar legacy — especially the notorious 1892 steelworkers strike which ended in a violent confrontation with management — Taiwanese-born artist Ting Tong Chang (pictured) worked alongside local filmmakers Alex Abrahams and Benny Shaffer to create this inventive bit of cinema.
Thie film noir–inspired result is a murder mystery set in a fictional macaroni factory, where the factory owner is found dead and each character carries their own potential motives and suspicions.
