Mike Botta, Associate Professor and Chair Department of Criminal Justice and Intelligence Studies Point Park University, lectures on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy (1917-1963).

This lecture explores the events which occurred in Texas on November 22, 1963.  It is not directed towards ascertaining if there was a conspiracy to murder the 35th President of the United States, but rather, it explores the forensic evidence discovered at the scene as a possible indicator as to the number of assassins, weapons used and to refute the “magic bullet theory”, which has caused speculation as to the actual assassin’s identity.

Dr. Botta’s breadth of knowledge is gained from his experience with the DEA, IRS, U.S. Customs,  and as a Special Agent Homeland Security assigned to the FBI joint Terrorism Task force.  He holds a BA in Administration of Justice, Masters of Science and Policy – Discipline in Intelligence and National Security, and recently earned a Doctorate – Strategic Security.
