This wonderfully wacky 2022 independent film joyfully parodies the “Batman” comic books and movies.
Introduced in 1939, Batman is a comic book hero created by writers/illustrators Bo Kane (1915-1998) and Milton Finger (1914-1974). He is the dark, brooding alter ego of billionaire philanthropist Bruce Wayne. Batman’s most dangerous enemy is a brilliant, clown-theme man called Joker.
This spoof reimagines Joker as a transgender woman on a collision course with the city’s fascist caped crusader.
