This wonderfully weird 1970’s stage musical is a parody tribute to the cheap horror and science fiction movie of the preceding 30 years. The story centers on the newly engaged Brad and Janet. After their car breakdown in a thunderstorm, the couple seeks refuge in a strange mansion where the transvestite Frank N. Furter s hosting a lavishly bizarre party to unveil his newest creation — the ultimate man, named Rocky.
Audience participation is encouraged: buy a treat bag filled with all the props needed to make “Rocky” the interactive blast that it’s always been.
Presented by Stage Right, a theater company and performing arts school founded in 1998.
