The Biblical story of Christ’s birth is re-imagined in this charming computer animated 2017 film.
The story follows a small but brave donkey named Bo who yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams with a lovable sheep and a dove with lofty aspirations. Bo and his friends follow the Star of the East and become accidental heroes in the greatest story ever told —- the first Christmas.
Admission is free. Because the screening begins at dusk, the times given here are approximations. Presented by the City of Pittsburgh’s Parks & Recreation Department, commonly called CitiParks. For more information, call (412) 255-2493.
