Introduced in 1962, comic book superhero Thor is the Norse deity of thunder who uses an enchanted hammer. His human alter ego is a doctor named Donald Blake. In this movie, Thor must race against time to stop the destruction of his world, at the hands of a powerful and ruthless villain.
