Pittsburgh singer and songwriter Tom Breiding is so committed to creating excellent blue collar rock tunes that he’s the resident musician for the United Mine Workers of America.
His songs reflect Tom’s deep respect for the triumphs, hardships and dedication of the labor movement. In 2013, some of these tunes were instrumental in winning back the pensions and health benefits of 18,000 retired coal miners.
