Cuba is an island nation located in the Caribbean Sea. The country’s biodiversity is impressive: an estimated 9,000 types of plants, more than 17,000 animal species and 270 kinds of bacteria. Phipps visitors will enjoy a wide variety of exotic Cuban plant species including lush palms like the national tree, stunning orchids an d unique ferns.
