Experience the captivating work of Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) brought to three-dimensional life through vibrant blooms, majestic trees and hand-crafted props as recreations of his legendary paintings take center stage at Phipps this summer.

Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. In just over a decade he created about 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings. They include landscapes, still-lifes, portraits and self-portraits. His works are characterized by bold colors and dramatic, impulsive and expressive brushwork.

Phipps’ horticulture team has masterfully transformed the historic glasshouse with breathtaking reimaginings of the post-impressionist’s acclaimed works, including “Starry Night,” “Sunflowers” and “Wheat Field with Cypresses.”
