“Where Is My Love?” (1996), the directorial debut from Taiwanese filmmaker Jo-Fei Chen, follows Ko, a gay writer struggling with the risk of outing himself through his writing.
“Incidental Journey” (2000) is Taiwan’s first openly lesbian film made in Taiwan. A breakup with her girlfriend sends Ching on a road trip where she encounters a hitchhiker Hsiang who may send her on a very different journey.
