This branch of the Carnegie Library serves the historic community of Brookline, which lies at the city’s southern edge.
Established in 1890 through a gift by industrialist Andrew Carnegie (1835-1919), the Carnegie is Pittsburgh’s public library system with 19 branches scattered throughout the city. Carrick was once home to many of the region’s most prominent families and several grand homes remain.
Today, the Carrick branch is a full-service community resources with a healthy of collection of material and regular programming.
STANDARD HOURS:
Monday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Tuesday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Friday & Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
PARKING:
On-street parking is available.
