The mission of the Croatian National Hall (CNH) is to preserve, promote and share the culture of Croatians and the contributions of Croatian Americans.

Croats are people native to parts of southeastern Europe. What is now Croatia dates back to the 9th century CE. The nation has taken many forms, as a duchy and a kingdom, and part of Yugoslavia (1918-1992). Croats have been immigrating to North America since the 1700’s. Pennsylvania is home to the largest population of Croat descendants in the United States.

The CNH has its roots in the 1905 formation of the Javor Singing Society. The current iteration of the hall began in 1977.
