The Gargaro Theater is the headquarters and home stage of Pittsburgh Musical Theater.

Pittsburgh Musical Theater was established in 1990 by Kenneth V. Gargaro. The non-profit is committed to providing quality, affordable musical theater to the Pittsburgh region, educating youth in the arts and employing and developing local talent.

The organization’s current home is a former Catholic school that opened in 1915 as an extension of the nearby St. James Parish.
