The Hillman Center is a multi-stage performance facility located on the north suburban campus of Shady Side Academy.

Founded in 1883, Shady Side Academy is a prestigious, private preparatory school with campuses in the city neighborhood of Point Breeze and a suburb just outside the city limits called Fox Chapel. It began as an all-male day school in the city’s chic Shadyside neighborhood before expanding and moving into Point Breeze, hence the academy’s name. Today it provides education for boys and girls from kindergarten through 12th grade.

The center opened in 2004 thanks to the support of many local cultural leaders including the Hillman Foundation. Facilities include a 641-seat theater, a 120-seat black box venue, a conference room and performing arts learning space.

STANDARD HOURS:
The box office’s normal hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
