Mammoth Park is large, 408-acre park located adjacent to the unincorporated rural town Mammoth and operated by Westmoreland County.
Westmoreland County is located southeast of Pittsburgh. It was created in 1773 and named in honor of a historic part of the United Kingdom dating to at least 1086CE.
Mammoth Park contains a 24-acre fresh water lake stocked by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission that provides excellent fishing opportunities. Another attraction is the 96-foot high giant slide and creative play area that has provided many thrilling rides to adventuresome park visitors.
