At 548 acres, Northmoreland is the largest park operated by Westmoreland County.
Westmoreland County is located southeast of Pittsburgh. It was created in 1773 and named in honor of a historic part of the United Kingdom dating to at least 1086CE.
he Northmoreland Lake is stocked by the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission and includes both warm water fish and trout. The lake provides excellent fishing opportunities and a fishing derby is held every year. The nearby playgrounds, pavilions, Activity Center and trails also help to make the lake a very popular destination for park visitors.
