Located inside a former church, New Ken Social provides both a space and the opportunity for the people of New Kensington to come together.

New Kensington is a town of some 12,000 people in rural Westmoreland County. A former industrial hub, efforts are being made to revive the community.

The chapel has been fully rehabilitated and modernized in order to provide an event space that has hosted everything ranging from speaking events to photo/video/filmi projects to bachelor and bachelorette parties.  There is an accompanying social hall that has hosted family reunions, record conventions, food festivals, birthday and graduation parties and has even housed movie production filming needs.

Remaining facilitates include a massive record shop by the name of Preserving alongside its sister concert venues.
