The Pittsburgh Creative & Performing Arts School (CAPA) is an award winning public school that blends traditional classes with those in visual arts, theater, music, literary arts and dance.

Students must meet a specific grade and submit a portfolio or an audition to be considered.

CAPA is housed in an 11-story building that includes a 400-seat auditorium, art gallery, media arts center and television studio as well as common facilities such as class rooms, library and computer labs.

Many of the student performances are open to the general public.

STANDARD HOURS:
Weekdays, 7:34 a.m. to 3:50 p.m.

A parking garage is located across the street.
