Located on a 1/2-mile strip of land near Downtown Pittsburgh (hence the name, Strip District) has been historically the city’s wholesale district  mostly fresh produce, meat and poultry dealers. Many remain with most of them having components open for public retail.

The district also features many specialty shops, restaurants and (during warm weather months) street vendors. Visitors enjoy the rough, industrial environment as well as the eclectic merchandise available.

Many programs and events are coordinated through or produced by the nonprofit Neighbors in the Strip.

PARKING: Metered and free on-street parking, along with a few lots, are available.
