The Waterfront is a super-regional open-air shopping center located just outside the city in the blue collar suburb of Homestead and along the Monongahela River.

Opened in 1999, the center sits on land once occupied by U.S. Steel’s Homestead Steel Works plant, which closed in 1987. The works made history in 1892 when a bitter strike turned violent and marked an important event in the development of organized labor.

The Waterfront is home to over 70 specialty shops, restaurants, entertainment complexes, hotels and retailers.

STANDARD OPERATING HOURS:
Sunday, Noon to 6:00 p.m.; Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

PARKING:
Free, on-site parking is available.
