Singer, songwriter and self-taught musician Charlyn “Chan” Marshall takes the stage as “Cat Power” to deliver punk music imbued with somber, blues-influenced instrumentation and melancholy lyrics.
Chan chose her stage name (as well as that of her band) in the 1990’s after seeing a trucker cap branded by the Caterpillar construction equipment company with the words “Cat Diesel Power”.
This is an “all-ages” concert.
