The seas haven’t been the same since this classic 1954 Japanese film first hit the screens.
The film follows a professor and his daughter as they investigate a series of explosions about various ships. What they find is an unstoppable, giant dinosaur-like creature created by a nuclear bomb test. Now, a way must be developed to stop the monster before there is more death and destruction.
“Godzilla” was a pioneer in cinema special effects, especially in the use of miniatures and detailed creature costumes.
