Learn how to create amazing spirit drinks in a party-like atmosphere inspired by some of the most beloved holiday movies ever made.
The cocktail is a mixed alcoholic drink that first appeared around 1800 (although its origin may be much earlier). There are various types of cocktails, based on the number and kind of ingredients (alcohol and non-alcohol) added. Because a cocktail is a “diluted” drink, many historians believe that the word originated with the phrase “cocktailed horse.” The phrase refers to the custom of docking tails of horses that were not thoroughbred.
You’ll learn how to balance heavy holiday sweetness with warmth and acidity, and how creative garnishes bring the cinematic theme to life in your glass. You’ll leave with the recipes, skills, and confidence to host the ultimate movie-marathon cocktail party at home.
