Some of the biggest hits of the disco era are brought back to the stage through the powerful vocals of Shayna Steele, Crystal Monee Hall and Kelly LeVesque.
Disco emerged in the late 1960’s and reached its peak around 1978 and is strongly associated with gay culture. It is a highly danceable music form that relied in syncopated brass, horns and electronic instruments. The term is a derivation of the French word “discotheque.”
The trio known as The Disco Divas are supported by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
