This program is designed to get participants comfortable using basic tools and working with wood.
Wood is an organic material made from trees or other plants that can be used to create a wide variety of products, especially furniture. Along with stone, clay and animal parts, wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans. Pocket screws are joiners used to combined materials through a hole drilled at an angle.
Students will create cedar planters.
