Allegheny Brewing is a craft beer maker and cozy pub with an outdoor space for concerts and other events.

Beer is among the oldest and most popular alcoholic beverages in the world. It’s brewed from cereal grains with hops added to provide additional flavor. Archeological evidence suggests that beer was first created over 13,000 years ago. The phrase “craft beer” refers to a specialty variety made in small quantities at what is often called a “microbrewery.”

The brewer is named in honor of Allegheny (1788-1907), the municipality that once occupied what is now the city’s North Side.
