The Block Northway is a shopping and entertainment complex located north of Pittsburgh (hence the name “Northway”).
It has an interesting history, having first opened in 1953 as a strip mall called Northway Shopping Center. The complex has gone through multiple incarnations over the decades (including, at one point, an aviary).
