The Cooper-Siegel Community Library is a public library with two locations that serve people living in Pittsburgh’s northeast suburbs of Aspinwall, Blawnox, Fox Chapel, Indiana Township, O’Hara Township and Sharpsburg.

Opened in 2011, this very modern library has been designed in the classic Federalist style. This style first appeared around 1780 in the newly founded United States and reflects a respect for ancient Roman and Greek architecture.

The library was made possible, in large part, to a gift from local entrepreneur Eric Cooper and his wife, Naomi Siegel. Cooper co-founded the local computer network equipment company FORE Systems in 1990. It was later sold and is now part of the Swedish firm Ericsson.

Facilities include a main reading room complete with a fireplace as well as specialty outfitted rooms for children and teens. There is also a patio and computer center as well as space for art exhibitions.

A second branch is located in a Sharpsburg community center.
