The Jewish Community Center Of Greater Pittsburgh provides a gateway to experience the richness of Jewish tradition and community while welcoming people of all backgrounds — Jews, Christians, Muslims and others — to participate in an environment that strengthens the physical, intellectual and spiritual well-being of individuals and families

It was created in 1960 through the merger of various community organizations, most notably the Irene Kaufmann Settlement which opened in 1895 to support the needs of recently immigrated European Jews.

The center’s suburban campus is located in Mt. Lebanon, an affluent community of 33,000 people south of Pittsburgh. This very modern building features distinct partial domes as architectural elements. Inside are classrooms, fitness facilities and event space.
