Get dolled up in your poodle skirts and leather jackets for a nostalgic brunch while watching John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John lead an exciting cast in the effervescent 1978 film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical.
Set at a fictional California high school in 1958, “Grease” centers on the love lives and key decisions among a group of singing and dancing seniors. At the core is local bad boy Danny Zuko and the shy but polished Australian transfer student Sandy Olsson. Their romance is pull-and-push musical challenge as each deal with peer pressure and their own expectations.
The catchy score includes the title tune and songs such as “We Go Together.” Also in the cast are Jeff Conaway (who appeared in the original Broadway version), Didi Conn and Stockard Channing.
