The Allen family has owned and operated this historic farm since the land was acquired by an ancestor — a former wagon master — in the 1850s.
Comprising 150 beautiful acres in rural Fayette County, the farm is best known in the agricultural world for its award winning Holsteins. This breed of cattle is the world’s highest-producing dairy animals. These cows are also called Holstein Friesians, after the German and Dutch provinces where they were first bred.
The Allen Farm is also a popular place every autumn when the family hosts its seasonal hayrides.
